XMA==Crap. You got it right. I only saw one episode, but I was disgusted. When I saw the guy attempting to move his 100 lb. punching bag, w/ weak ass kicks I got sick. When I saw him "spar" with the other multiple time "world champ" I threw up (not literally ). I mean, he moved a distance of about five feet, with his foot two feet above his opponents head level, while doing extremely weak kicks repeatedly. At that point, I said, "Where's the controller, I think the Simpsons are on." The simpsons are great! Anyway, XMA is a horrible display of Martial Arts, and will allow more McDojos (owned by fat slobs in porsches), to open up and capitalize off of some poor young Power Ranger fan. This makes people believe that some of those stupid ass moves will work.

Aside from further soiling the term martial arts, XMA did have an entertaining aspect to it. I read someones post earlier and that person mentioned mullets. DAMN!!! There were like 75% of the guys there w/ huge mullets. It was ridiculous. I've never seen so many trailer park trash in one place at one time, excluding a Clinton Family reunion. The other entertaining thing was those stupid kicks that have no chance of working on the street, or in the ring. They actually are fun to look at. I would be embarasse to do that in front of millions of people. In that situation, you know there are a big number of people laughing, and wishing they could challenge you to a televised fight.

In short XMA was horrible for martial arts, but good for a laugh. I think it belongs on Comedy Central, rather than the Discovery Channel.
