I didn't mean to imply that you were misled to believe that that flashy stuff is all wonderful 'cuz u watch power rangers. I read the part that you said you were in third grade (or whatever) at the time, and you made it clear that you know the difference between power ranger MAs and what is applicable in a real life situation. I wasn't trying to bash what you said, but to use the power ranger kid that believes in that stuff as an example.
You are also right that it is all in fun and there is nothing wrong with having fun. However, the thread is "XMA, what is this crap?" So, obviously, the author of the thread is disgusted at the fact that this XMA is making Martial Artists look like a bunch of acrobats in a circus. From that premise, it is easy to find XMA to be a bunch of BS.
