Many people have failed to realize that San Shou ACTUALLY is MUAY THAI!!! You're in doubt? Just go watch how San Shou guys kick. (and sometimes how they perform knee strikes) Many Chinese martial artists claim that San Shou is NOT MUAY THAI, but HEY!!! How often do San Shou figthers pull their "Kung Fu" moves on the ring, hmm?

Yes, I'm curious to how many knees Cung Le throws since in San Shou rules you're not allowed to throw knees! I have never seen Cung Le once throw a knee! San Shou is basically intl. rules kickboxing combined with throws/take downs. Yes, they're using Muay Thai "style" kicks but they don't elbow nor knee in competition. San Shou fighters are good at throws and takedowns but I haven't seen Cung Le do a fight yet with kneed allowed.
