i respect your distinctions between matchups and streetfights.
and granted you avoid involvement in fights (as a good martial artist trained in situational apprasial should do). but there are many times when the fight scenario happens instantaneously and there is no opportunity to call the police.
as to peasant farmers, Karate was invented by peasant farmers and fishermen, Sikaran was invented by farmers of the Phiippines in Baras Rizal. I respectfuly disagree that the art of war has limited applications. But if you're trying to say that not everyone is knowledgeable about it i agree with you.
