Yes I thought his view on BJJ was interesting. Especially the story about him throwing Swain into a wall. He defenitely hit on some points. If you get a good throw you end up in a better position than if you simply did a horrible throw or simply dragged him to the ground and end up in his guard. Rolls Gracie who learned under him actually had a lot of strategy based on his teachings. Rolls Gracie became very skilled at throwing under him and in tournaments he would get a good Uchimata which actually broke his opponents collar bone on more than several occasions and if they did not break anything he would immediatly apply an armbar to end the match and even if that didn't work he would be in a position to go onto a knee on stomach and easily slip to mount making it easier to win the match.
