then maybe you guys shuld stop comparing the too you idiot. Anyway your wrong. THe too are very much alike. And many tkd ppl go to Muay thai or kickboxing. nd thats a fact. TKD can be used as a beginner step. Manny ppl started usng the thigh as leverage to kick (steping on it and whatnot).
And to the 1st poster. My gamar is bad ehh? well guess what. STFU Thats all you have to say about my post. Well here is all i have to say. STFU. I have heard some ppl say TKD is a nice style that doesn't use kicks and shins ato block and is something you dont get hurt in and its a ....nice sporting competition friendly envirment. This is how a site disscribed it. Then i noticed, that kicks are not used as blocks! I have devolped that, and may ppl in my cass. It looks as if we were going to kick but we stop. This is not tuaght in our school. I see lot of video clips on the net of tkd sparring. Alot of them dont keep there hads up... dont punch aty all anymore they just use the hands to gain momentum. I have even seen some clips where when they got close instead of trying to push or punch at your oppent THyey did a sort of boxing garb expect it was more of just running into each other with there chest out and arms straight forward, showing that there not pushing the other guy. That is truly a disgrace. that is one way you can go by doing tkd.
The other is to start looking like a MT person. Some ppl even throw hooks at the chest protecter and when close uppercut the body. Even though they get no points for it. It still cuases the oppent daage, even though its a little. Ad thats the outlook of some ppl that turn them MT. The other is the pure ponit AND SPORT WAY. WHIch is gay. They just worry technacally on the points. Which is gay..
