without a doubt, your training style will make you more skilled and tougher than someone who does not have a stomach for your quality of training. and that comment extends beyond martial arts and even to your personal life.

a word of caution, though, my friend. not all people who take up martial arts share the same goals. that is, some people are not motivated and in fact turned off by use of unnecessary force during training. i understand the tenet that if you do not force in practice, do not expect to be able to execute with force in a real life situation. but, having said that, the fact still remains that not all people relish pain the same way that you do. so do be careful my friend that you may ecourage more people to embrace, instead of shun martial arts.
