 Strait blast in action
A great example of effective strait blast was the UFC fight between Vitor Belfort and Marvin Eastman. I can't remember which event it was in, but Vitor used what looked like strait (boxing) blast to back Eastman up and set up one of the most vicious knee strikes I've ever seen to end the fight. For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's worth checking out. I'm not sure if Belfort's ever trained in the specific technique of strait blast, but he's a member of the Brazillian olympic boxing team.
