Thank you for sending me to such a great thread! That is a nice story, but it seems to be about how a group of guys fought another group of guys. Training in the ring can teach you some skills that may be useful against knuckleheads, but I was referring to a true self defense situation where you are outclassed and/or outnumbered. Just because "legal" moves worked in this situation, it does not mean it will work for a woman who is all by herself or even a guy who is jumped in an alley. All I am saying here, is that most likely an attacker is not going to fight fair, and you need to be prepared to do whatever is necessary to defend yourself. I'm not saying you need to kill the other guy every time.
