I find that when you get that adrenaline rush your whole body tingles and you got into a hyper aware state. U think that you are moving slowly and attacking less powerfully but most likely you are doing just the opposite and are only perceving yourself to be weaker/ slower because of the adrenaline rush. And in order to use your MA skills you have to train constantly so they become instictive, which is hard at first because people are more incline to attack with "clobbering" style attacks and "arms over head" defences. These are basically the attack/ defensive mechanisms we have when we are born. In short, fight with not a blink of the eye between thoughts. Your mind must be everywhere yet not concentrated on anything.
