Hahaha, I am very pale too, don't worry about that. Tanning is way over-rated. Thanks to the tanning craze, the skin-cancer rate amongst women aged 20-30 is skyrocketing now (tanning is burning your skin with radiation).
And I've seen some tough guys who are very light-skinned (i.e. think of the Vikings or the hard Celtic types). As for tallness, well everyone comes in different sizes.
