I do Krav Maga and most of the ground work in it is from BJJ, actually probably 95%+ is bjj.
Im fairly confident that I could destroy all the white belts,
Anyway what do you think, I dont really need to gratify myself with "oh ive got a brand new belt", but Id like to know where I stand in the grappling world and I think BJJ is best to measure myself against. |
Yes, you should test your skills in a BJJ club. if you tap the blue belts then you have a chance to be considered for blue belt.
But my club will expect you to tap the other blue belts in an open tournaments also.
No, there is no belt test, Bjj belts are awarded on performance.
You just do not 'sit' an exam to demonstrate an armbar for e.g.
You still have to demonstrate techniques during graduation exam but it is just for the form.
Be ready for the 'belting' during graduation lol
