He had actually done about 4-5 of those spinning back kicks throughout the fight, some connecting, some not.
I agree it just happen to land solidly, but how many times could that be said about other fights....that's pretty much how fights happen, sometimes things just sneak through or someone lets their guard down....It's not so much a lucky kick, as it is just timing and lack of awareness on McCarthy's part...he was just trying to throw an overhand right and got caught leaving his side open and go stuck for it...
