I have the pleasure this year to work on the farm with a very well endowed young woman of Japanese decent. I saw her in town the other day crossing K. st. The sun was low and shone through her long skirt. It quite literally took my breath away. I've been fairly obsessed with "Melony" since that day and even found Kanji to express the emotions and desires I feel for her. She seems receptive to my simple gifts like the pumpkin bread I made from scratch, a book mark with a number of affectionate Kanji and other services. I sharpened a couple of knives for her and applied first aid when she cut her finger on one of them.
I found an old Tanka (31 sylable short poem) that describes the way I feel. It looses it's lyrical beauty in the translation and hardly sounds poetic in English but I think it's got the
Yojou to express feelings beyond the words themselves...
