this would be the most popular weapon almost an icon to the western world of silat.....actually in the old age..kerambit is the weapons for the ladies...yup...thats what i said...its a choice weapon for woman silat masters...but is is not a problem for the man to master it...kerambit is consider the assasin weapon because all the fatal blows are actually to subdued the opponent quickly and messy...why?...because it attack major blood veins..the hook makes it easier to panetrate the skin with a flick of the wrist...main and popular target point are the throat...the two veins at the side of the neck...joints...and the wrists...usually the kerambit is teach to the advance or those who masters the buah pukul or attack moves...dont be fooled to be lured to learn silat for the sake of the kerambit...u will missed so much education on tapak(steps) and buah pukul (attack move)...
