Well, I train FCS so the dvd's are a must for my library as reference tools.
All of the dvd's are good. If you haven't seen Tuhon Ray in action be sure to get any of the seminar or fcs gathering dvd's.
I have Guro Ray Cole's silat dvd (vol. 1) and I like it. It teaches the basic (3 out of a total 12, which I understand are forthcoming) djurus, followed by some combat applications and the sambuts (two-man drill). The bulk of the tape goes to dissecting the sambuts. In my opinion, it's teaching an empty hand flow outside of the hubud and panatukan/boxing format- not bad at all. I dunno if an advanced silat player would get the same out of it, though. You should try contacting Guro Ray Cole (I dunno if you can do it thru the website: www.fcskali.com) if you want more details. I also have Tuhon Ray's advance knife fighting dvd as well as Guro Rafy Pambuan's espada-daga dvd both are great as well. While all of the dvd's are full of different techniques, try to remember that FCS is a concept-based martial art- and what the dvd's are trying to show is ways that those concepts can be applied.
