It's hard to tell from the quality of the clip, but Royce must have been really messed up for his corner to throw in the towel. Considering he was matched against a wrestler, I was surprised that Royce wasn't actually defeated by a counter submission, or a choke, but rather the cumulative effect of kicks and punches over the span of several rounds.
To his credit, he fought like a tiger throughout the match, but it also appears that he absorbed a number of heavy punches as well. | BJJ counters = catch wrestling??????
