I disagree, if your body is performing at a high rate a lot, supplements are very helpful, as they supply any nutrients the foods you are eating don't provide. Don't rely on supplements, but there's nothing wrong with eating a very healthy diet with a good multivitamin supplement thrown in to cover any weak areas.
