evidently there is growing concern over the 5.56 mm ammo used by our troops vs the larger more powerful ak47 rounds used by insurgents.

even before reading this i had heard of us troops trading their m16s for ak47s they would find laying around iraq. way more stopping power. theres something wrong if our troops would rather use soviet era weaponry that has been sitting in the desert for years rather than what our government gives them.
