Reviewing the thread thus far, a couple of very interesting questions/statements were made. So, instead of calling theSnake an idiot and myself as being a moron, help us out with intellectual answers to the following:

Shaolin Bushido: I think in the final analysis the fact that Ninpo is not accepted as koryo by the Japanese and Okinawan Martial Arts establishment sorta hints at how they regard the "art".

Great question, but I don't think a rational answer is forthcomming. Don't even try answering this one

Shiteuke: One thing you forgot to add snake,,,Ninja WERE Samauri,,,, they were Samauri of a fallen Shogun whos only goal in life from that point on was avenging their Shoguns death,,,get educated or get lost!

(so, the Ninja originated from within the ranks of the Samurai and never existed anywhere or at any time outside the ranks of the Samurai ? Interesting)

sojobow: What was the function of a Female Ninja? P/S. If it is a fact that there were/are Ninja of the female gender, how does this go to the arguement that Ninja were Samurai (unless one believes that there were/are female Samurai) ?
