Clamored around said ruins until sundown, hung back there while security folks cleared everyone off for the night, then made my way back to one of the 'guard towers' (sort of enclosed parts), threw down my sleeping bag, took out the baijiu and sausages I had brought and camped out overnight. 'Round about midnight I take a walk around and there's a bright moon and not a soul around for miles but me.

I felt cool.

Then I felt cold.

Then I hunkered down in the sleeping bag until morning.
