My only criticisim of the leg lock is that depending on the rules if you leave one leg free; you are leaving yourself open to a nasty kick from the free leg. It doesn't matter if you do the lock with lightining speed (may turn into a leg break) be if you are just trying to go for a tap out. Beware, a lighting thrust kick may be waiting for you.
Also, My experience is that some of those judo/JJJ/sambo leg locks require extreme flexibiltiy in your legs.
