Kata ashi hishigi is a very common "ankle" lock or calf crushing technique that can be performed standing or on the deck (on your back/seated position) I have seen many variations of this simple hold (dislocation technique) in MMA.
Think of catching a kick with his foot trapped behind your armpit and lock your arms around it...

I know that one and I was counting that as an ankle lock not a leg lock. ( being said in a polite way)
