When I was grappling on a regular basis, our instructor would split us up into two categories:

below 170lbs

above 170lbs.

I think I weighed around 178 at the time. There was another guy who was also about 180 and the rest of the guys were 210, 232, 244, 226 etc. I'll add that these guys also knew what they were doing and were fit!

Talk about rag doll...

If you're strong for your size, you'll be able to hold onto them, but that's about it. Work with their strength, not against it. Resist just enough to get their push or pull and then go the opposite direction and you might be able to steer them.

Other than that, just hang in there, use your speed to your advantage and think.
