This is extremely true, especially when its with little footsweeps from Judo that you do when you catch em (or make em go) off balance.
Sasae tsurikomi ashi, is my favorite against the larger guys, they always push forward for some reason.
With that said, to the OP:
You said wrestling and BJJ, so I'm gonna assume you went to the ground.
If you need to control the big guys on the ground, I cant stress underhooks enough, if your standing up and you just know wrestling, underhooks are prolly the way to go too. (Using judo you use alot more funny ass grips when doing No-Gi standup because you need to, it sucks sometimes, nothing wrong with double unders though).
On the ground though, side control, half gaurd, get that under hook and pin them there, its what stops them from smashing you with their size.
