It may be the academic in me but...

What's the connection between Egypt, India, and Japan? If Jujutsu has its roots in sumai and kenjutsu, why bring up the Greeks? I personally don't find it that surprising that grappling arose independently in different places at different points in history. The human body only moves in so many ways.
