Default It's all part of the same thing

I still believe in the old fashoined ways of training in Muay-Thai/Boran. In that I mean push-ups/sit-ups, squat thrusts etc.. Basically utilizing my body weight for a good workout in co-operation with my Thai stuff & Silat
The real reason why bodyweight exercises are such a big part in so much of martial arts classes is because it costs no money and practically no equipment to do them, but ultimately resistance is resistance no matter what the tool being used. The MMA guys do the bodyweight stuff aswell and get the best of both ways which is the best way i reckon.
