Just wanted to let all of you guys know that Lloyd Irvin won the heavyweight division for 30-34 year olds at the Sr. National Judo Championships this last weekend in Florida. Lloyd won 2 matches by submission and one match by pin.

More impressively, the guy that he beat for first place also took third in the Sr. heavyweight division. Makes me think that Lloyd could do very well in the regular heavyweight division.

Don't know if you guys remember Rhadi Ferguson who posted here as Judo Machine, but he won the -100kg division. He is Lloyd's student and also an excellent judoka. Fought a real smart final.
