I had people come down from a rival school and they were up for a fight. I told them to wait afterwards and then kicked the cr*p out of them.
They used traditional martial arts (they were wing chunners) as they thought I would respond in kind. After I beat them they complained that I wasn't using wing chun and I told them that they had come down, threatened my students and wanted trouble, so they got it. It's probably not the route I should have taken, but there you go

I have been in a situation where a student fancied me (must be the first time a girl has shown interest in me!), but I couldn't reciprocate as I don't think instructor/student relationships are wise
I think it comes down to the individual and what their personalities are like. I know many instructors who date students, with mixed results. Just be aware that if it goes wrong it can make training awkward
