Default Life expectancy increasese for Americans

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070912/...ife_expectancy

According to a study in 2005, the average life expectancy is 78 years. This is a 2.2 year increase from 1995, where the life expectancy was 75.8 years. The difference is even larger from 1955 when the life expectancy was 69.5 years.

The primary reason for said increase: decrease in heart-disease and stroke related deaths.

Cancer deaths, however, showed a marginal increase.

The top 5 nations that have the highest life expectancy (in decreasing order):

1. Andorra (a tiny country between Spain and France).
2. Japan
3. Macau
4. San Marino
5. Singapore
