I'm an instructor level student in Ninjutsu. Just Wondering. why do you find it embarassing to take Tai Chi? its an amazing style... it really is... if you learn to focus your chi, you can train your body to do amazing things... Truly amazing things, my friend. if you want to condition yourself to perform ninjutsu, first foff realize, video games are not real. second, hope u like endurance building. lots of that here haha. third, its not all about flexibility, the most important attribute for ninjutsu is an able brain, and a strong body. not so much flexibility, just strength, endurance, and a quick whit. do not be the student who just wants to learn " the cool stuff. " many student who have applied to my dojo i have turned down simply because they want to learn " the cool stuff. " like how to take someone down, and before they hit the ground, they are dead or paralyzed. do not expect to learn that stuff straight from the get-go. you wont. i refuse to teach my student that kind of power until they are 5th dan at least. i must trust the student with my life as well as the other student's life in the dojo. teach one man to kill, theres a possibility he'll want to kill. i promise you, the first three " belts " are just defensive skills and whatnot, but dont be deturred about this, ninjutsu is easily one of the best stand-up fighting forms in the world. its made to use your enemies energy and will against themselves. the harder they try, the more pain they will have to endure. i have defeated other respectable masters of muay that, Brazillian Jiu jitsu, TKD, Judo, Hapkido, Aikido, Tai Chi, and a few other forms, simply because of the lack of knowledge about ninjitsu. using the target's body mommentum and force to make them do what YOU want. but it takes many years of training, and i mean that. if u stick with it, you could possibly be a one man army. i kid you not. but, remember, its the easiest thing in the world to quit. true strength is withstanding all the pressure where others would crumble and fall apart. my best wishes to you my friend, if you have any question your surely free to ask me. i'll be here to help.
