we learn techniques similar to karate but we do not do ANY technique application, we do not practise blocking strikes at all, this would not bother me if i hadnt talked 2 a level 1 blackbelt who said he had done any even basic sparring! this seems wrong 2 me especially as i do not not not not like tai chi praying mantis anyway. so could someone please help me out
also i have heard that tai chi takes up to 15 years to learn to apply in combat

Dude! do yourself a favour and talk normally! Not with all the numbers and put some damn punctuation in there, its hard to understand. Aaaas for my oppinion!! Tai chi is awesome, get some friends and try apply it. Seriously, its good stuff if you can learn it well. Ninjitsu or whatever your learning aint that great... I mean my friend learnt it for ages, and all he got from it was the annoying habit of stepping on my toes while attacking me... Hmm... an uppercut to the ribs should help him fix that... next time... next time... BWAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
