I just liked the knife techniques he showed and their fluidity.
Having met a muslim teacher in Thailand who was nice to me, I thought
that what Hussain put on that clip was just some cultural pride.
Luckily I was proved wrong.
I also thought that it was only Silat and not a mixture of techniques
taken from Sayoc and Pekiti Tirsia.
I know about Spanish and Italian knife fighting, but from what I've seen
the Philipino systems are really good and I'd love to train these, so if
I will do it one day it will definitely be Sayoc, Pekiti Tirsia or other Philipino systems.
I'm still interested in seeing some genuine Silat knife systems though.
