You need to show more intent - not to sound like an ass but what does the word intent mean?? If you're just doing moves in a form for the sake of doing moves in a form then there is no intent. You have to do it like you mean it - thats intent. W/O that there is no fighting spirit. To help you better understand this - ask the coach why are the moves done in this order? What is the intent behind these sets of moves? What are the applications?

Warning - please don't go to extreme with it where you get into the XMA mindset (let me yell and spin my samurai sword in the air really fast with the look of constipation).
