I emailed Fairtex and it seems all I'll be doing is conditioning and 5 rounds on thai pads then 3-4 rounds on the heavy bag for 1000 baht - which honestly I can do at home.
I've seen Jitti's gym come up a bit in posts - will they tailor a private lesson to what I want?
thanks

Training at good camp in Thailand is same as private lesson. You go
one on one at pad work, and clinching if you're up to it. Some thing you obviously cannot do at home. Pls believe me that each session will work you to your physical limit, and they train twice a day. I believe that ฿1,000 at Fairtex is for two session, morning and afternoon.
Training at Jitti would be similar, but the facility is not as nice as at Fairtex. However, it's cheaper to commute to Jitti from your hotel in Bangkok. Jitti is right next to a subway station. Going to Fairtex will cost plenty by taxi, and each trip will take so long, you'd be better off hanging around till your afternoon session. Fairtex is better taken as live-in (full board) training package. Since you're only in Bangkok for a few days,
Jitti would be a better option. BTW I train at Fairtex, but only for morning session. I have my own car so I don't have to put up with office hour traffic. I've also trained with Kru Jitti when he was teaching just a stone throw from my house, on Sunday, which Fairtex do no train.
Once you train at good camp in Thailand, you'll be hooked.
