Quotes do take on new meaning and contexts. As when "mouse" took on a new meaning with the advent of the computer (context). Or "baptism of fire," "struck-out," "got to first base," "it was a wash-out," "robbing Peter to pay Paul," hundreds of others and the twist Lee himself gave to his quote lifting. What did the word "gay" mean in the 1920's? What did "drop a dime" mean then, as compared to it's meaning in the later drug culture of the 60s and 70s? I do rely on the immediate context. Even the name "Jeet Kune Do" must now be "qualified" with the question, "Original," "Concepts," "Hybrid," "LA," Oakland," adinfinitum..
