Im a 4th kyu at my Dojo but we had a similar problem with someone at ours aswell. He claimed to be a 2nd dan under a 7th dan in Italy and another high grade in London. But his basics were truely bad he didnt seem to have any idea what he was doing. My shidoshi spoke to him several times and tried to teach him but he refused to let go of what he thought he knew. In the end my teacher went up to him a basicly said that if you want to continue training at my dojo you cant wear your black belt. We havnt seen him since . . . . he he
