No offense, but you're already trying to influence the study of another person if you criticize what's been put up. You're saying "That's not the right way to do that," and disqualifying something else in favor of something you are able to correctly judge. I'm sorry, but your caveat is totally self-serving.
If you're willing to critique, you should also be willing to share. As it is, your criticisms are sharing, but only in the negative sense. For balance, it might be good to include a positive example of what you think is better. If you like, go ahead and put out a disclaimer that what you're sharing is ONLY your system's way of doing things. In either case, don't kid yourself into thinking that being critical isn't the exact same thing as trying to influence someone's study. They are the same animal. One just influences by saying "Don't do that" and the other by saying "Do this."
That's more aimed at back kick than you, GranFire, but I still think Matt might benefit from some well-meant advice. He does, after all, have a full time instructor to help him sort out the differences.
