I'm a huge Pacquiao fan but I was actually really disappointed in him. He actually looked like the same fighter in their first fight: one dimensional. The first fight was such a great experience for Manny because it forced him to learn how to use both hands and punch in bunches. I didn't really see any of that Saturday night. I actually felt that Marquez won the fight.
On a side note, did I sense a rift between Roach and Manny? I thought that it was interesting that Roach was not in the ring coaching him just before the start of the 12th round. He also didn't really hang around him for the post-fight interview. My guess, he's pissed at him for not taking his advice during the fight. |
