I am running a little low on coffee still so I am taking things out of order....
Sparring vs forms...it depends on the mood (I am a moody female you know

)
I love forms, done right they give you a workout and a half, keep both mind and body busy. My favorite was and is (my old) blue Belt form...I have not used the old names in over a year....Won Ho I believe (I hate green/Do San, but I am getting pretty good at teaching it)
I prefer to kick...'She got legs and knows how to use them'

I am lacking upper body strength and really hate to collect punches - up until a little over a year ago I actually sparred with glasses...don't want to get hit...
My favorite technique would have to be a spin back fist. First, learning it in my most hated form it threw me off...but after I accidentally almost connected with it in free sparring I can appreciate the power it develops! And I didn't mean to throw it, it was a rather passive thing.
least favorite....hmmmm crescent kicks out of a backstance...especially when still warming up, the mechanic of this kick just does not sit well with me...
I am pretty neutral about which style form is better, each choreography has it's purpose and as such is valuable...some have changed over time, some a lot...of course there are elements in the forms that are ancient, I guess unless you are fighting somebody with a fullfaced motorcycle helmet a spear hand is pretty obsolete...and when do you get to 'pick the peach' in a sparring match?!
