Area 51 is really just a government sponsored cover to keep everyone from focusing on AUTEC. All the real stuff is deep underwater or on secret ships designated as IGTLRV's (Inter Galactic Travel Launch and Recovery Vehicles) that stay in international waters away from prying eyes. AUTEC is located in the Bermuda Traingle and is the real reason for the disappearances of craft and whacky compass readings.
