Not much to tell, really. Grew up in the sticks, have little in the way of formal training or education. I'm a widowed father and farm hand.
I dropped by here a few years ago and never left, seems like a good place to hide out. Obviously, I have way too much free time on my hands.
I did some judo back in the late 70's and early 80''s. I hold no formal rank. In the navy I was exposed to some basic knife work... It was highly unauthorized and brief.
More recently I hooked up with a local associate instructor (JFJKD) and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu blackbelt. He trained my son (Michael) for almost two years.
So, yeah... I know next to nothing about lots of stuff...
