A couple of the guys I practiced with were the type who, though they wouldn't admit it, enjoyed getting into a little scrap once in a while.
One time I was having a snack in the Muslim quarter with one of the trainers at a KF school I trained at a couple of nights a week when some idiot decided he didn't like the looks of us. Mr Wang gave that boy a pretty good beating if memory serves.
There were no crouching tigers or hidden dragons, and zero wirework. Just folks getting popped in the mouth, swept, thrown, or bounced off a wall. Just like anywhere else.
