Hookah,
Same type of story w/me. I'm catching a flight from Orange Co. airport to come home to San Antonio. I glance in a news-stand type store, and he was in line with a newspaper. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so I just walked up and said, "Hey, Tank, big fan, nice to meet you" and shook hands w/him.
As I approached him, he had a look on his face like he was uncomfortable being recognized. Not a "leave me alone" look, but more like he was uncomfortable w/the attention. He said "thanks a lot, brother."
I'd hate to be in their shoes... we meet them once, for 10 seconds, and base our opinions on that. I'm sure if someone caught me out in public, there are times I wouldn't make a very good impression.
I have to say, though, that ALL the guys I've met have been very cool. I think it's all in the way you approach them.
