There is a sample 50-day program that integrates strength and cardio, that you can use as-is or tweak to meet your own goals. Best book I've ever read for S&C for combat sports.
Some of the principles: aggressively cycle exercises in and out to avoid plateaus. Seek to develop both strength and power on strength days, and muscular endurance, aerobic and anaerobic cardio on conditioning days. |
