Default Mouthguard for light sparring?

I'm a beginner student of JKD, and at the end of each class we have a light boxing sparring session. Now I've seen some students put on mouthguards, and I'd like to do the same. My question is this:

Is there a significant difference in protection between a single and a double mouthpiece? Is there a particular brand you would recommend?

I was going to go for the simplest, cheapest single one like this, before I started to doubt whether it'd be sufficient:

Academy Of Karate - Martial Arts Supply Inc. ($2.50)

Here's a basic double version
Academy Of Karate - Martial Arts Supply Inc. ($4.50)

and then they get fancier and more expensive Academy Of Karate - Martial Arts Supply Inc. ($27)

My goal is to prevent the expensive porcelain veneers in my mouth from being knocked out by a stray punch. Which kind of a mouthguard would I need?
