I do have some shoulder issues though which I'm praying to God won't wreck my trip. I really want to learn as much as possible.
You guys got any tips for a first-timer noob in Thailand? My goal is to do a year out there and take a couple of fights toward the end if my body is holding up. |
Thats great brother! I saw a lad that had never trained before in Chiang Mai,after 5 days training he had a better shape than people I knew back home had in months of training.
My advice is to research the camps as much as possible, there are so many now that cater for the overseas student new or not, find a good camp you like with a good coach you like and then let them know you will be there up to a year, when they hear that they will know they can work with you and set out a plan of training, also give them 100% effort and plenty of smiles and they will respond in return.
Try not to get caught up in the party atmospere as this will detract from your training big style if overdone.
Plenty of other things I could say but number 1 is research where your going to go and then post again with ideas and im sure others on here will help you as much as possible.
Good luck.
