Cool

Knee on the Stomach (KOS) for the person on the bottom is very dangerous.
The person on top wants to make you as uncomfortable and painful as possible so that you react to make a mistake. You need to be careful not to expose your arms or elbows. If you try to push the knee off your stomach, you expose the elbow for an arm lock submission. If you do try to push the knee off, you must do it quickly, keep your arm tucked into your body and turn into your opponent.
You need to quickly assess your opponent's balance. If they should make a misake in the base and are leaning forward, you can quickly reach up, grab the lapels and launch them forward and you can spin around and either be in their guard, half guard, or you can try to pass and be on them, side guard.
If they should be back a bit, you might be able to spin between their legs and reach up and pull them from behind.
I may not have explained these moves properly but there are several ways of escaping the knee on the stomach. But remember, KOS is a move that is meant to inflict discomfort and pain and you need to react quickly and properly or else you will easily get submitted
