I know we've all seen UFC fights end in armbars.. but what if you tried to end a fight with some idiot on the street using an armbar? Will his arm actually break? It's never happaned in the UFC has it? I've been doing jiu jitsu for a little while now and I worry that some submission moves just won't work. I don't think hyperextending someones arm would be enough to stop them.

Any replies would be appreciated.
