I wouldn't do it in a streetfight unless I knew it would be locked up perfectly tight and deep and could bend his arm 90 degree's the wrong way, otherwise punch him.

I'm decent at arm locks on both sides but tend to get the right arm, with fortunetely most people are right handed and woud stop them easier, I know I'd be screwed trying to fight most people with only my left.
